student complaint system

wittenberg university maintains a systemic approach to student complaints. various types of student grievances, complaints, and appeals are handled by multiple processes and departments.

  • academic appeals: click here for student academic appeals, related to: general academic policies, general education designations, course grades and board of academic standards decisions.
  •  campus incidents:  click here for reporting incidents on campus. examples could include: non-academic violations, sexual misconduct, concerning behavior and bias incidents.
  • odhe: click here for making a complaint to the ohio department of higher education
  • hlc: click here for making a complaint to the accrediting agency, the higher learning commission

general student complaint form: if a complaint or concern is not addressed above, please complete the general student complaint form below. once this form is submitted, an automatic email is generated to the student complaint panel. a member of the panel will review your complaint and follow-up with you for resolution.
