Swinburne astrophysics PhD student Emily Petroff has become the first person to have witnessed a fast radio burst in real time. Fast radio bursts are short, sharp flash of radio waves from an unknown source. In an interview with SBS Two's The Feed program Emily explains the mystery surrounding fast radio bursts and the importance of stargazing.
